I know that Tetris(tm) enthusiasts will like this article and find it very helpful! Have you ever played yetris game? yetris is a customizable Tetris clone for the console that aims to bring alot of fun and entertainment to people.
It has very nice graphics, a colored textual interface, upp to 6 next pieces and a Scoring system compliant to the (conjectured) Tetris(tm) Guide‐line. Do you linux geeks like to give a try to this game?
Open a new terminal in your linux machine and use the wget utility to download the game.
1. Install libncurses5-dev.
sudo apt-get install libncurses5-dev
2. Decompress and extract the content from the archive.
tar -xvf alexdantas-yetris-a4a11e3.tar.gz
3. Change directory.
4. Run the following commands to install yetris.
sudo make install
5. After the installation is finished run the following command to lauch the game and start playing it.
Left, Right Controls the piece
c Holds the piece
z, x Rotates the piece counter-clockwise and
p Pauses the game
q Quits the game at any time
h Show help window
r Restart game
F2 Switch statistics
