PlayOnLinux is a free front-end application for Wine which can be used to easily install games and apps designed for Microsoft Windows. It is written by Quentin Pâris and uses Bash and Python. Do you like to give it a try?
Run the following command to install PlayOnLinux in Ubuntu.
sudo apt-get install playonlinux
After the installation is finished run the following command to open PlayOnLinux and follow every step as shown in each screenshot.
Make sure you are connected to the internet as the Wizard prepares PlayOnLinux environment.
Click the Install button to install a new app.
