How To Install Adobe Reader In Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

I will not explain anything about Adobe Reader in this article. The intention of this tutorial is to teach and show you guys how to install the Adobe Reader in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS machines.

1. Open a new terminal (CTRL+ALT+T)

2. Run the following command to update your sources list.

sudo apt-get update

3. Add the Canonical partner repository and update your sources list again.

sudo apt-add-repository "deb http://archive.canonical.com/ $(lsb_release -sc) partner"

install adobe reader in ubuntu 12.04 LTS

sudo apt-get update

4. Run the following command to finally install the Adobe Reader program.

sudo apt-get install acroread
