How to Install Viber in Linux 32 Bit And 64 Bit Systems

install viber linux

Viber is an app similar to skype that can be used to make free phone calls, send text messages, photos, stickers, and video calls through the Voice Over Internet Protocol technology(VOIP). It offers a great sound quality that is much better than a regular call and you don't need to pay a cent when communicating with Viber users.

Free calls, no advertisements. Who wants annoying ads? You can also call any number that doesn't have Viber at low rates using ViberOut. What platforms does the Viber app support?

Viber works on almost every Android, iPhone, Blackberry, Windows Phone, Nokia, and Bada devices and Linux systems. I know there are many Linux users out there running 32-bit version systems, no need to worry, I have a solution for them too.

  1. An error message appear during viber's setup :
Setup failed. One or more issues caused the setup to fail. Please fix the issues and then retry setup. For more information see the log file. 0x80070005 - (null)
Any ideas to solve the problem?

  2. First of all, make sure you get version for WinXP. But even then, it doesn't work on 32 bit Linux - 0x80070005 - Access Denied. I wasted half the day on this, installing different versions of wine and still couldn't get it to work. So, long story short - don't waste your time, if you really need Viber, then easier to install 64 bit Linux and use the official version.
