Install Birdie Twitter Client In Ubuntu

Social media plays a very important role in communicating with others, sharing your thoughts and marketing products or skills. There are many popular social sites such as Facebook, Twitter Google + and many others. Different people like different stuff, someone hates facebook, someone may like it, this does not matter to us.

Do you use Twitter to share your latest stuff you bought this season, something you heard on the news or your research papers? Whatever the intention of using Twitter might be, it will be nice to have a twitter client which you can use for posting your tweets. Have you heard about Birdie?

Birdie is a fast and intuitive Twitter client which is very easy to use. This Twitter client is built using technologies like Vala and Gtk by a group of volunteers. Birdie gives you the possibility to tweet from your desktop, without the need of a web browser. This beautiful Twitter client for elementary OS is released under the GPLv3 license and its code is available for anyone to use, modify or share.

The Birdie Twitter client allows you to view conversations directly from the Desktop and it comes with the multi-account support feature, which is a must for people who own multiple Twitter accounts.

Do you like to delete a tweet you just posted? The Birdie client gives you the option to do that, so no need to worry about posting tweets in the wrong account.

Install The Birdie Client

Since this is a elementary os oriented app, there is no complete guarantee that it will perform like a first-class application in your ubuntu machine, but since we are computer geeks we love to test different stuff.
