How To Install VMware Workstation In Ubuntu

In this tutorial we will teach you how to install VMware Workstation in Ubuntu. Ok linux geek, open a new terminal (CTRL+ALT+T) and run the following command to update your system.

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade && sudo apt-get autoremove

What to do now? It is time to download VMware Workstation for Linux. You can download the 32 bit version.

After the download is finished make the file executeable with the following command.

chmod +x VMware-Workstation-Full*.bundle

Next, run the following command to start the installation.

sh VMware-Workstation-Full-10.0.1-1379776.i386.bundle
