Visualize System's Activity With ranwhen.py Tool in Ubuntu

ranwhen.py is a python tool that can be used to show in a graphic mode your system's activity. It displays information about the total running time and daily average in a very beautiful histogram. I love python programming language so I thought to share this useful tool with you guys.

What do you need to run ranwhen.py?

Since it is written in python, a python interpreter is needed to run the code. ranwhen.py requires python >= 3.2, a terminal emulator with support for Unicode and xterm's 256 color mode and a *nix system.

Install Python 3.2 in your machine.

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:fkrull/deadsnakes
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install python3.2

Once the required python interpreter is installed, download the Ranwhen archive and open a new terminal (CTRL+ALT+T).

Run ranwhen.py tool.
